Eddie's road home.... (Happy New Year!!!)

I had to take a step back, again. The overload of non-information and turn of events from right at home to the rest of the world, my mind and emotions were hard to keep under wrap. I needed to not lose my calm for the sake of my family and their festive season. I worked Dec. 24, 25 and 26. How about you, Steady Eddie? Where were you for Xmas? How many days did you get paid from our hard-earned money? And by the way, where are these millions in savings that we have? Shouldn't you be using it to make up the short-fall of the budget instead of making us give you more?

I think you should look into religion as your next career, Eddie. Most churches are financed by their parishioners. And the parishioners, too, become poorer and the churches, themselves, prosper. Eddie's government is corrupt. This is a fact I've stated since the 1st time a group of buffoons put our premier is his coveted post.

"He said a sign that things aren't so bad in Alberta is the fact that the population is still growing — by .44 per cent, or 16,300 people, from July to October. That, Stelmach said, sends a message of hope and prosperity." PLEASE READ LINKED ARTICLE. Eddie obviously took only the information useful to him, for his speech and forgot the actual context of the article. I've been taking those Albertans to their buses heading out of the province. Some are going back home, some are born & raised Albertans going to see if things aren't as rough elsewhere. So don't even try to put your opaque veil of deceit on dire numbers, Eddie. There's a flaw in your allusion of leadership. You keep putting your foot in your mouth. Next.

"And Stelmach says that although many Albertans may be personally hurting economically, the province has billions in savings to weather the effects of recession." Translation, Eddie isn't worried, personally, HE'S GOVERNMENT/PROVINCE. Eddie, where are the billions? Your accountant (Ms. Evans) has stated that the province is running a deficit. How can that be if the province has all that bling hidden away in the Batcave. Your team of spin-doctors and speechwriters need to spend more time surfing the net about feedback on you and less time spending their year-end bonuses.
I've surfed the net and it's pretty easy to find unflattering comments on Eddy and his band of merry thieves. They, also, seem to take from the story only what is useful to them. Gentlemen, " it's take from the rich and give to poor.", not "Rape the poor blind and run." It puts a smile on my pretty face, to read the growing comments from fellow Albertans, expressing their displeasure, dissatisfaction and disgust with our governing body. I think when the public starts referring to the Alberta government as a dictatorship, people are more than just slightly discontent. They're pretty close to revolting. I say this only because we have several periods in history that went the same way and ended badly. For the governing party, that is (ie: French Revolution).

Maybe, Eddie has his own words to translate what Mari-Antoinette really meant (if she really said, that is) when she stated "Let them eat cake." I would bet anything he would see that event as a prosperous time for France, no doubt.

I call forth all Albertans to make only 1 New Year's resolution, that Eddie and the rest of the useless bloodsuckers, including Ms. Evans been sent packing by March, 2010. It's do-able. Even sooner maybe, if enough people read this. My fingers are crossed.
