A personal effort to inform other albertans of the serious state of our province and the shennanigans carried on by our governing politicians.

There Just No End...
It's been a few weeks since I've had time to dedicate to Eddy and his crew. It's not that they've stopped plundering the Province. They smoothly avoided a review of their pay-raises by promptly bringing up a review of the Royalty Program. The reforms were implemented in 7 days. That itself was a miracle. NOT. Pretty easy considering it's almost a carbon-copy of the original Program. Very smooth indeed.
Then the kids dying in the care and protection of the Alberta Government. Just like our finances were mishandled, so are the already fragile lives of our children. My stepdaughter was in foster-care. Although her experience seemed to have been O.K., the stories she brought with her were not so O.K. So I do believe this have been an ongoing problem that some ill-advised, less than empathetic adults have failed to monitor and reform to the best of their abilities and positions of power. Starting with our Premier.
Eddy didn't deserve the position he was given. He just seemed like the only option at the time. And now we're paying for it dearly. Ms. Evans stated the Heritage Fund was of no importance to the taxpayers of Alberta, once she finished pilfering it for high-risk investments in a volatile market. By then, she had lost all that King Ralph had acquired. Then, just recently, Eddy makes mention of said Fund. Apparently, he would like to gloat that us Albertans should be proud of his government's accomplishment of not having touched the Heritage Fund during the economic downturn. Can't use what's not there, Eddy. He should of reminded us and himself that the Sustainability Fund has been used frequently. This a fund he created. A fund that we have no information about, where the funds come from and where the funds go.
Most of the projects and grants being handed out by the government, supposedly created to stimulate the economy, have been useless, over-estimated/billed in costs, and contracted out to other provinces/countries. Still waiting for those work contracts from all the trips out-of-province/out-of-country by our Premier and his cronies.
So as we enter another summer of drought, unemployment and personal financial disasters (repos, divorces, etc...), the Alberta Government would like to remind us all to spend more time vacationing in our beautiful Province. But please be aware that as recently as this past week, they announced the closure of more of our public parks and campgrounds. What The Hell?!*!#?
Alberta wake up before we change our name to "New Texas".
