So the new budget is coming out. The new finance Minister is talking about it prior to it's release, just so we're clear. Therefore, any whining in the near future of office espionage or security breaches/leaks, let's remember who started it, the Finance Minister himself. We seem to be off to a fine start in the second round of "Squeeze Alberta(n)s 'til They Stop Screaming". "Everybody will have to live with a little less." in the same paragraph as "I'll have a new pair boots by the end of the year." Somehow, I sense that these necessary cuts endured by us Albertans will help pay for those new boots. And the only way you can prove you earned them is to not sound and proceed like your predecessor, Ms. I. Evans. It looks, sounds and smells the same. We shall see.... (flash to Feb 10, 2010)
It's the morning after, and I think I just woke up in my own version of "Groundhog Day" (although the original was much funnier). Alberta 2010 Deficit projected at $4.7B, and it still feels like
April 2009 - Evans projects $4.7B Deficit And the new minister sounds just like the old minister. Take from 'Peter' to give to 'Paul'. What kind of accounting is that. People pay good money every day for an expert to to tell them that their personal finances in shambles from following that very same poor accounting practice. It's doomed to fail, no matter how you try to spin it. Asking Albertans to understand that further debt wll be required to pay down already massive loans is absurd, to put it mildly. I think this is further proof that the kind of position requires at least two years or more of actual accounting education as any certified accountant requires to do their job. Only makes sense, no?
This only solidifies what I've privately stated. Mr. Stelmach on changed everybody's posts because of promises made regarding everybody get their turn a big government-post pay-cheque and chance for their name to get on the Ministers' Pension Plan mailing list. I'm only writing what everybody is thinking. Now we just have to wait for the new Royalty Review Report (the three Rs, now that's funny). More backtracking from Eddie and his Cruisers (Scrubs - modern term). Only fitting that he end his mess the way he started it. By messing with Alberta's economic stability and future. This should be a very busy week for these little fingers.
A personal effort to inform other albertans of the serious state of our province and the shennanigans carried on by our governing politicians.

Poor Steady Eddy.....(NOT!!!)
Steady Eddy got twittered. And he didn't like it. Somebody picked on the 'little guy' and it hurt his feelings. And his press secretary, Tom Olsen, doing his usual job of put his foot in his mouth. He really is not very good at his job. If he was, I wouldn't know how moronic both Mr. Olsen and Mr. Stelmach are. " That said, he (Steady Eddy) never resorts to the personal and is never pleased when others do" stated Mr. Olsen. Olsen seems to be have a temporary lapse of memory and it keeps occuring everytime somebody shows backbone towards our incompetent government.
Did Steady Eddy not directly insult Brian Mason? Yes, he did! Did Steady Eddy not directly insult our province's unemployed? Yes, he did! Steady Eddy and his puppet, Olsen, seems to live in their own world. They can't remember what each says from one day to the next and double talk when they make unfounded accusations towards others. Here's one for you, both. Steady Eddy and Olsen are boobs. Definition: a stupid person, fool, dunce. Is that clear enough for you both? Never trust the quiet one with the beady eyes. That describes Eddy, I do believe.
Where is the work from your trips to the States and the trip last Spring to Europe? Why were Steady Eddy and his crew paid more than once for those trips (budgets)? Where's the funding so the "C group" can get those jobs Eddy claims to be out there to fill? Not everybody is good at what they do, and Eddy is a the best example out there to prove it. Alberta is in it's worst shape ever! And it's nobody else fault but Eddy's. He's is charge, right? He's make the decisions, right? And he sucks at it, big time!
I do take some of the blame for not doing a better job to stop them from still being in power. I've learned from my mistake and won't let it happen again. This time around people are starting to pay attention to their lies, their whitewash, their covering up of facts and omitting crucial information that Albertans are in the right to know. Ms Evans is a prime candidate for falsifying documents and "cooking books". Maybe an investigation should be started there? We are talking billions unaccounted for in loses. It's unacceptable that Ms. Evans would quickly dismiss her shabby accounting skills as the fault of the world economy. She's failing at her job, end of story.
Let's make sure we as albertans don't make the same mistakes twice. Choosing another party will be the right choice. Even if it is an unknown. It really can't get any worse than it is now. Let's fix this error and vote for somebodyelse with actual skills. Somebody who has Alberta and its citizens as their main concerns, not their personal enriching of their retirement plan at the cost of those who pay their wages. ENOUGH!

Eddie's road home.... (Happy New Year!!!)
I had to take a step back, again. The overload of non-information and turn of events from right at home to the rest of the world, my mind and emotions were hard to keep under wrap. I needed to not lose my calm for the sake of my family and their festive season. I worked Dec. 24, 25 and 26. How about you, Steady Eddie? Where were you for Xmas? How many days did you get paid from our hard-earned money? And by the way, where are these millions in savings that we have? Shouldn't you be using it to make up the short-fall of the budget instead of making us give you more?
I think you should look into religion as your next career, Eddie. Most churches are financed by their parishioners. And the parishioners, too, become poorer and the churches, themselves, prosper. Eddie's government is corrupt. This is a fact I've stated since the 1st time a group of buffoons put our premier is his coveted post.
"He said a sign that things aren't so bad in Alberta is the fact that the population is still growing — by .44 per cent, or 16,300 people, from July to October. That, Stelmach said, sends a message of hope and prosperity." PLEASE READ LINKED ARTICLE. Eddie obviously took only the information useful to him, for his speech and forgot the actual context of the article. I've been taking those Albertans to their buses heading out of the province. Some are going back home, some are born & raised Albertans going to see if things aren't as rough elsewhere. So don't even try to put your opaque veil of deceit on dire numbers, Eddie. There's a flaw in your allusion of leadership. You keep putting your foot in your mouth. Next.
"And Stelmach says that although many Albertans may be personally hurting economically, the province has billions in savings to weather the effects of recession." Translation, Eddie isn't worried, personally, HE'S GOVERNMENT/PROVINCE. Eddie, where are the billions? Your accountant (Ms. Evans) has stated that the province is running a deficit. How can that be if the province has all that bling hidden away in the Batcave. Your team of spin-doctors and speechwriters need to spend more time surfing the net about feedback on you and less time spending their year-end bonuses.
I've surfed the net and it's pretty easy to find unflattering comments on Eddy and his band of merry thieves. They, also, seem to take from the story only what is useful to them. Gentlemen, " it's take from the rich and give to poor.", not "Rape the poor blind and run." It puts a smile on my pretty face, to read the growing comments from fellow Albertans, expressing their displeasure, dissatisfaction and disgust with our governing body. I think when the public starts referring to the Alberta government as a dictatorship, people are more than just slightly discontent. They're pretty close to revolting. I say this only because we have several periods in history that went the same way and ended badly. For the governing party, that is (ie: French Revolution).
Maybe, Eddie has his own words to translate what Mari-Antoinette really meant (if she really said, that is) when she stated "Let them eat cake." I would bet anything he would see that event as a prosperous time for France, no doubt.
I call forth all Albertans to make only 1 New Year's resolution, that Eddie and the rest of the useless bloodsuckers, including Ms. Evans been sent packing by March, 2010. It's do-able. Even sooner maybe, if enough people read this. My fingers are crossed.
